This unique facial massage treatment works with the muscles of the face, neck, and scalp as an integrated system. The buccal component is an intra-oral technique where the therapist, wearing gloves, gently accesses the muscles of the cheeks from inside the mouth. It may sound unusual at first, but many find it very relaxing and comfortable.

The face contains many muscles and everything is connected. Tension in the neck, head, and oral posture can all contribute to facial symptoms. Because each person is unique, several treatment approaches are offered to help address your specific concerns and goals.
Buccal Face Massage combines external facial massage with intra-oral (buccal) techniques to address tension within the muscles of the face and jaw. During treatment, gloved hands are used to work internally inside the mouth allowing direct access to deeper structures that influence jaw movement and facial tension. By working both sides of the muscle, this approach can help release areas of chronic tension that are often difficult to access by external massage alone. Buccal Massage offers a focused approach that supports improved mobility and relaxation while maintaining a smooth, integrated flow throughout the session. This treatment may be performed with or without oil.
Structural Facial Massage focuses on the facial and jaw musculature as well as the surrounding connective tissues. This treatment works with underlying structures of the face to address areas of tension, restriction, and habitual holding patterns. Performed primarily without oil, this treatment allows for precise contact and controlled pressure. It can be particularly beneficial for clients experiencing chronic facial tension, jaw tightness, headaches, or areas of restriction, helping restore more natural movement and reduce accumulated tension patterns.
Advanced Face Massage builds on the foundational Buccal Face Massage with more targeted, movement-based techniques applied to the facial and jaw musculature. This treatment is particularly helpful for clients experiencing jaw tension, clenching, grinding, or TMJ-related symptoms. Using a combination of external facial massage and intra-oral techniques, the treatment works directly with the muscles responsible for chewing, speaking, and facial expression. Treatments may be performed with or without oil.
Facial Massage is a relaxing yet therapeutic treatment focused on the muscles and connective tissues of the face, neck, jaw, and surrounding structures. The session is performed with oil and is ideal for clients who prefer a facial treatment without intra-oral work.
Post-Operative Facelift Massage is a therapeutic treatment designed to support healing and recovery following facelift surgery. Surgical procedures can create swelling, fluid accumulation, scar tissue formation, and areas of restricted movement. This treatment focuses on gently supporting the body's natural healing processes while helping restore health tissue mobility. Depending on your stage of recovery, the treatment may incorporate manual lymphatic massage to help reduce swelling and support fluid movement, gentle scar therapy to assist with tissue remodelling, and myofascial techniques to address areas of restriction.
Hot and Cold Stone Massage therapy uses temperature contrast to support circulation, reduce tension, and encourage healthy tissue function in the face and neck. Warm stones help relax muscles and soften tissues, while cool stones help support circulation and can assist in reducing puffiness or inflammation. This is a 15-minute add-on to any of the above treatments.
Lymphatic Massage is a gentle treatment designed to support the body's lymphatic system, which helps to regulate fluid balance, support immune function, and remove metabolic waste from tissues.
This treatment blends several approaches to lymphatic works so the session is tailored to your needs. Techniques may include Vodder/European Method (without oil and using light rhythmic movements), Brazilian-style Method (performed with oil), and honey massage, which uses the natural stickiness of honey to stimulate circulation and support lymphatic flow.
All face treatments conclude with a hot towel to promote more blood flow and relaxation.
The Many Things We Do to Our Faces
Modern facial care often includes a wide range of treatments beyond massage. Many people receive cosmetic procedures such as Botox, dermal fillers, Sculptra, threads, laser treatments, microneedling and other injectable or surgical procedures. These treatments can influence the structure and function of facial tissues and may affect which manual techniques are appropriate.
Facial massage works directly with the muscles, connective tissues, circulation, and lymphatic system of the face. Because of this, certain cosmetic procedures may change how tissues respond to manual therapy, and in some cases specific techniques may need to be modified or avoided. For example, areas containing dermal fillers, Sculptra, permanent threads, or implants may not be appropriate for deeper manual work.
Increased circulation, improved tissue mobility, and changes in muscle activity may also influence how the face responds to cosmetic treatments over time. While facial massage supports healthy tissue function, it may influence how facial tissues respond to certain injectable treatments. Because every person and procedure is different, manual techniques are always adapted to your individual presentation.
If you have received cosmetic injections, threads, or facial surgery, please mention this during your intake so treatment can be adapted safely and appropriately.
